Here’s what you will successfully be doing

We are currently looking an individual to join our Metro Vancouver based sales team as an Account Manager. In this role, you manage and grow existing client relationships, as well as create new relationships for years to come.  

You will take a hands-on approach to supporting your clients and assist in the development and realization of lighting and controls specifications for project opportunities through out BC and beyond. Your primary customers are Landscape Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Municipalities, and end users. Client diversity is a guarantee to keep your days full of exciting challenges.  You are a well-rounded salesperson with the expertise to manage multiple tasks and client requests, and delivery in-person and virtual sales presentations.

 

Qualifications

  • Completed a minimum of Grade 12.
  • Post-secondary education or practical experience in sales, marketing, business, or trades
  • Lighting knowledge or applicable technical aptitude
  • NCQLP LC designation is an asset
  • Must have a Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license
  • Must have a Valid Passport and ability to travel within Canada and the US

 

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years sales experience preferable in the lighting, construction or design products
  • A minimum of 5 years team-based sales experience preferred

 

Technical Skills

  • Must be proficient in all MS Office products
  • Experience using Salesforce.com would be an asset

 

Account Manager Role

  • Develop service and manage assigned accounts
  • Present demonstrate and mock-up products and application techniques in both formal and informal settings
  • Create and manage sales opportunities through the multiple phases of the construction sales cycle using Salesforce.com
  • Prepare and deliver lighting and controls proposals to accounts
  • Participate in the negotiation and closing for your account and project opportunities
  • Respond to daily sales and application enquiries

 

Account Manager Responsibilities

  • Nurture and strengthen existing account relationships
  • Identify and develop new accounts
  • Meet regularly with Director of Sales to review plans and priorities and communicate required support
  • Coordinate with the Project Closing Manager and Sales Ops to ensure tender closes are supported
  • Complete all tasks required from the account manager roles
  • Update and input calls and project leads into Sales Force as required
  • Follow-up on manufacturer visit appointment scheduling

Salary
 $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
