Manufacturer Planning Checklist

In an effort to better support your sales goals and to maximize your brand(s) in the BC Region, we have refined our processes to enable effective client qualification and selection processes, aligning your product and service offerings relevant to our clients’ current projects and business needs.

Our planning cycle is segmented into stages, allowing for 16 weeks in advance to map out the planning, product training, marketing, client qualification and scheduling and to secure all necessary product samples required.


Total Planning Time:
3-4 Months

12-16 Weeks prior to target date

Initial Intake Form

Requirements:

  • RSM/Manufacturer to complete CDm2 Intake Form
  • CDm2 to review and assess viable dates
  • Schedule preview seminar

8–10 Weeks prior to target date

CDm2 Preview

 

Requirements:

  • RSM to preview products/presentation with CDm2 Sales Team

7–9 Weeks prior to target date

Qualification, selection, 
and scheduling

 

Requirements:

  • Client qualification and selection process
  • Scheduling of meetings and L+L

6–8 Weeks prior to target date

Product Samples

 

Requirements:

  • Confirm all required samples; new and/or current  inventory
  • Scheduling of meetings and L+L

4–6 Weeks prior to target date

Presentation review and accreditation

AIBC review and approval is approximately 4-6 weeks.

Requirements:

  • Receive final presentation from RSM
  • AIBC review/credit (if applicable)
  • Scheduling of meetings and L+L

4 Weeks prior to target date

Confirm itinerary and secure schedule + logistics

 

Requirements:

  • Confirm AIBC credit approvals
  • Confirm RSM travel itinerary
  • Confirm all internal resourcing for RSM arrival
  • Finalize client schedule; details + logistics
  • Assemble all sales samples for RSM presentations
  • Confirm arrangements for regional transport (if applicable).
