Scraplights
Handcrafted from recycled cardboard, Graypants’ flagship Scraplights provides warm, intimate, and functional lighting for any occasion or space. Tough and elegant, each is precision cut with a laser and assembled by hand using non-toxic adhesive, and all Scraplights are treated with a non-toxic fire retardant.

Loci
Loci, which in Latin means ‘centralized sources of power,’ refers to the series’ innovative method of achieving hundreds or thousands of singular points of light in an installation. Rather than using many individual bulbs, which would gobble energy and require frequent maintenance, Loci installations are powered by only a small handful of ultra-bright, energy-efficient LEDs.

Chrona
Mimicking the phosphorescent envelope found around stars, Chrona lights create a luminous glow by combining spun brass and diffused acrylic. With a variety of configurations in both horizontal and vertical orientations, Dish pendants can be clustered together to make stunning constellations or individually hung to accentuate any space. Thin, yet robust, the pendants are available in diameters ranging from 6 to 17 inches (14-42cm).

Roest
The pioneers of laminated cardboard pendants and uniquely handcrafted architectural lighting have something new up their sleeves. In their first outside collaboration, Graypants’ teamed up with Dutch designer VanJoost to expand on their curiosities and explorations into the world of lighting. The collaboration with VanJoost highlights Graypants unique fascination with nature and material research. By combining these two principals, they were able to create a truly unique aesthetic to enhance the world of lighting.

Barro
Graypants is proud to share Barro, a pendant fixture by Caterina Moretti. The partnership between Graypants and Caterina was born of their friendship, kindred design spirit, and a curiosity to explore working with wholly natural materials; Barro is made from clay pulled directly from the earth of Oaxaca, handcrafted, and finished with only the power of heat and smoke.

Prop Ceiling Systems
The Prop panel is a perforated steel unit, which can be combined in numerous combinations to create a wide variety of ceiling systems. The strength of the Prop panels lies in their ability to be endlessly combined into a Prop Ceiling System, accommodating integrated lighting and acoustical needs.

Cloud Installations
Graypants’ hand-sculpted lighting installation features a programmable light show, concealed by thousands of ping-pong balls. Each Cloud chandelier is designed to be as unique as the environment in which it hangs, providing a window into the Pacific Northwest.

Kerflights
Inspired by tried and true handcrafting techniques, the Kerflights series is precision built to accommodate any situation. Durable powder coated steel wire frames provide a distinct shape and character for each lamp. The shades are crafted from FSC-certified high quality plywood with a unique kerf pattern cut into the panels allowing for intriguing patterns to be cast onto walls and table surfaces. The magic in the Kerflights series lies within the flexibility of the design. The shade panels are swappable and reversible, allowing for future possibilities over their long lives.
