Opened in 2019, Canyon Falls Middle School serves 750 students in grades 6-8, addressing school overcrowding while fostering a modern, collaborative learning environment.
CDm2 collaborated with the project team to create an LED lighting system, equipped with programmable controls, reduces energy consumption by over 35% and enhances comfort by adjusting to natural daylight levels. Carefully placed lighting in maker spaces, classrooms, and outdoor learning areas fosters an inspiring, interactive atmosphere while maintaining visual comfort and energy efficiency.
Designed to meet LEED Gold standards, the school integrates sustainable lighting solutions that minimize glare and maximize usability, reinforcing its commitment to modern educational design and student success.
