Kelowna Visitor Centre
Kelowna, BC
Project Details
The Kelowna Visitor Centre, inaugurated in 2018, serves as a welcoming hub for travelers, offering assistance with accommodations, attractions, and tours.
The Centre exemplifies how integrated architectural and lighting design can elevate a civic space, ensuring it remains both functional and visually engaging throughout the day and night.
The 3,000-square-foot building reflects the Okanagan’s landscape and tourism culture, maximizing natural light with expansive glazing that offers sweeping lake views.
At night, architectural lighting transforms the centre into a waterfront beacon, highlighting its modern form while ensuring seamless integration with the park and pathways. Soft interior lighting enhances wayfinding and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere
