Lakestone Drive

Project Details

Lakestone Drive is part of a 550-acre lakefront community overlooking Lake Okanagan, designed to blend architecture, landscape, and lighting within a preserved natural setting. More than half the site remains open space, connecting homes to parks, trails, and lakefront amenities.

CDm2 LIGHTWORKS supported the project with exterior lighting systems that enhance safety and atmosphere while protecting the night environment. Roadways and pathways throughout the development are illuminated with Lumenpulse Pure100 and Mobilia Bollard luminaires, providing uniform, high-quality light that improves safety while preserving the area’s pristine nightscape.

Energy-efficient luminaires and adaptive controls reduce energy use and maintenance, aligning with the development’s sustainability goals. The lighting design reflects the community’s natural setting and modern aesthetic, using precision optics to minimize uplight and light spill. Energy-efficient LED technology ensures consistent performance with low maintenance demands, while maintaining the warm, inviting character of the lakeside environment.
