TELUS Sky Tower
Project Details
The TELUS Sky Tower stands as a landmark of innovation in downtown Calgary, seamlessly integrating architecture, technology, and art. Rising 60 storeys above the city, this mixed-use tower combines offices, residences, and retail within a sculptural form.
A defining feature of the tower is “Northern Lights” which is a 160,000 square foot LED art installation by Douglas Coupland that transforms the façades into a dynamic, illuminated canvas.
CDm2 LIGHTWORKS provided interior architectural lighting for the tower’s office and public areas, emphasizing comfort, precision, and design integration. Across the office levels Fluxwerx Profile luminaires deliver clean, efficient illumination that complements the tower’s contemporary aesthetic.
In the lobby, iGuzzini projectors highlight the dramatic living green wall, while iGuzzini Laser Blade luminaires provide discreet, refined downlighting within the ceiling. Together, these elements create a cohesive and inviting interior environment that enhances material texture and spatial rhythm throughout.
The result is a luminous interior that reflects the tower’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and human-centred design.
