One of the largest library systems in the United States, Mid-Continent Public Libraries serves over 780,000 people across three Missouri counties. The new and renovated branches are designed to embody the future of libraries as community hubs. Enriching citizens by expanding access to technology, community events and areas for children, teens and adults.
MID-CONTINENT PUBLIC LIBRARIES
Installed across the 3 branches are 231,Vela 6Meteor luminaires that were specified at different wattages, that deliver between 4,500 lm to 9,200 lm. Designed over three phases, all branches have an expected completion date by early 2022.
Providing a wide distribution, and soft diffused light. The Vela 6 luminaire enhances visual comfort and offers a cohesive look and feel across the library-system.
