Project Details

Kabam, a global leader in mobile gaming, brought its Vancouver operations together under one roof in a new 118,000 sq. ft. headquarters at Vancouver Centre II. Designed by Perkins &Will, the space supports 500+ staff with flexible, collaborative zones, pet-friendly amenities, and vibrant social areas that reflect Kabam’s creative culture.

CDm2 LIGHTWORKS collaborated closely with the architectural and engineering team to develop an integrated lighting strategy that enhances both form and function throughout the space. Balancing natural daylight with intelligent lighting controls, the system supports wellness, productivity, and brand storytelling across multiple environments.

Key features include:

• Atrium Illumination: A two-storey atrium is lit to foster connection and host community events.
• Integrated Lighting Features: Custom lighting within articulated wall panels adds depth and visual identity.
• Collaborative Zones: Specialty lighting in open meeting areas encourages creativity and interaction.
• CDm2 also ensured alignment with WELL and LEED goals, supporting energy efficiency, comfort, and system adaptability across the office.
